WPCC - Windup
On Monday, June 22, 2009, the pin club's annual windup was held at the home of Denis and Sharon G. in Winnipeg. The potluck dinner was wonderfully organized by Sharon G., Joan K. and Gina B. There were 47 pin club members and their guests in attendance. The food selection was incredible with a vast selection of meat dishes, Ukrainian food, deserts and salads as well as an assortment of beverages. There were 25 high quality door prizes available for those in attendance. The entertainment provided by Pepe Cortez was top notch. Even the weather cooperated - the rainy morning skies parted to give us clear skies and warm temperatures for the entire afternoon and evening. A fun time was had by all. Many thanks to Sharon G., Denis G., Joan K., Ron K., Gina B., Bill S., Margo D. and Wes P. for all their hard work in making the evening such a big success. We are all looking forward to next year's windup.
