WPCC - CANADA DAY AT THE FORKS 2008
President's Message:
Today turned out to be a wonderful day for our annual July 1st Canada Day pin show. We were greeted with sunny skies. Large numbers of pin club members turned out to help with the staffing of the tables and/or just to drop by to pay a visit and do some pin trading. Many thousands of people came to The Forks to partake in the extensive Canada Day festivities which included amongst many other things..........our pin trading tables. Sales of pin club pins and memberships went very well mainly due to the efforts of Gina B. Our thanks go out to Wes P. and Bob M. for taking the photos that you will see in this slide presentation. A fun time was had by all with hundreds of pins being sold and/or traded to the general public and club members. It should be noted that table space is free to club members. If you wish to make some enquiries regarding joining our pin club, please feel free to contact myself or any of the other executive.
