WPCC - 2008 CHRISTMAS PARTY AT THE ROYAL FORK BUFFET RESTAURANT
Hello fellow club members:
Our annual Christmas party was held at the Royal Fork Buffet Restaurant in Winnipeg on Tuesday, December 9, 2008. Bill S., our Public Relations Officer, did a great job in reserving the large room for our party. There was an excellent turnout that included club members, spouses and friends. Mrs. Santa (Lynne S.) and her elf (Melita T.) were able to bring some extra Christmas cheer.
Everyone had a great time. Wes P. took some excellent photos of the event. There was the usual 50/50 draw, a pin draw and a $10.00 gift exchange. The grand prize draws were held at the dinner. The $100.00 jewellery set was won by Clayton E. from Portage La Prairie and the DVD player was won by Roger D. of Winnipeg. In addition, there were 10 door prizes given away.
Ron K. and Joan K. were responsible for the organization of the event. Without their hard work and dedication, the event would not have been possible.
Many thanks to Ron K., Joan K., Lynne S., Melita T. , Bill S. and Wes P. for making the dinner such a great success. We are all looking forward to next year.
