WPCC - EASTER MEETING
Message from the President:
The pin club had its first ever Easter party on April 16, 2009 at the Norwood Legion in Winnipeg. It was held in the main floor bingo hall. The room was wheelchair accessible.
Coffee and donuts were served courtesy of Roger and Margo D. We really appreciated their kindness and generosity. Thank you.
The event was a lot of fun for all the 33 pin club members & their guests who were in attendance.
Three members dressed up as Easter bunnies. Thanks to Lynne S., Bob M. and Melita T. for being such good sports by dressing up for the occasion.
There were 15 high quality door prizes handed out, a 50/50 draw and a pin draw.
Our thanks also goes out to Joan K., Ron K., Roger D., Margo D., Gina B., Bill S. and Wes P. for all their help in making the evening such a big success.
Based on the popularity of this party, the pin club is considering hosting other similar parties in the future. Our next big party will be held in October, 2009 and will have a Halloween theme.
