1975 Toyota Celica GT (RA22)

Hi, my name is Pete Henry. This is the '75 Celica GT (RA22) I purchased in July 2007, almost 20 years after I sold the first one I owned. A Celica like this one was my first car and I had it for 3 years, until the engine went. I sold it almost 20 years ago and regretted it ever since. So now I own another one. =)

The first of many large projects is replacing the completely worn out suspension. Putting in Tokico shocks & struts (ImportRP.com), King Performance lowering springs (KingSprings.com) and a full Pro Bushings polyurethane bushing kit (ToyheadAuto.com). As you will soon see I ended up removing the old undercoating and applying Duplicolor Truckbed Liner instead.
I also quickly did the front calipers as they needed replacement. Installed a newly rebuilt carb in place of the old one. Refinished the dash, as the old one had the fake woodgrain chipping off, and had it out to replace the Speedo. Some new emblems, and refinishing of the old ones. Sorted down a number of wiring shorts in the lights. Plus more wiring issues throughout electrical system. Etc......
I also included some "Photoshopped" pics of upgrades and changes I am considering.
