WPCC - CANADA DAY AT "THE FORKS" - JULY 1, 2010
President's Message
Our annual Canada Day pin show was a big success. Although it rained for the first hour, the clouds soon parted and we ended up with a warm sunny day. Many pin club members showed up to help us out with the pin displays or just dropped by to say hello. Hundreds and hundreds of pins were traded or sold. Besides our pin show, there was entertainment of all kinds with plenty to see and do. If you happen to be a people watcher, Canada Day is always a great opportunity to see Canadians all decked out in flags and/or brightly colored clothing that reflects their pride in being a Canadian.
Table space was free to club members who were very happy to be able to show off their pins. I would like to encourage everyone to come and join in on the fun next year. Our thanks go out to all the club members who participated in this yearly event. Many thanks to Wes P. who took these beautiful photos and created this slide presentation.
