HMCS WINNIPEG - PRESENTATION
A special ceremony was conducted at the Norwood Legion in Winnipeg on October 23, 2009 to honor the officers and crew of HMCS Winnipeg. They were presented with an complimentary membership to the Winnipeg Pin Collectors Club for their dedicated service to all Canadians. Commander Ferguson and nine of his officers and crew were in attendance to receive their complimentary membership. WPCC pins featuring our bison and our club logo were also presented to the officers and crew of HMCS Winnipeg.
The Winnipeg Pin Collectors Club received a beautiful plaque from the officers and crew of HMCS Winnipeg that features the ship's bison logo. In addition, each pin club member received a HMCS Winnipeg's special lapel pin with the bison logo on it. We are most grateful for these wonderful gifts.
The Winnipeg Pin Collectors Club and its members feel very honoured and privileged to have the officers and crew of HMCS Winnipeg as part of our club.
