WPCC - THE CBC VISITS

On behalf of the pin club, I would like to thank Denise C., Producer from the CBC and her cameraman for filming our pin club meeting. The video will appear on CBC television as a commercial for the pin club in the next week or two. I would also like to thank new club member Juliana L. from Starbucks for supplying the coffee and some of the door prizes for the meeting. During the meeting, the members voted for the 2008 club pin. The winning design submitted by Ivan L. was of a Snowy Owl. Turnout at our club meeting was excellent. A fun time was had by all. Thanks to Wes P. for taking the photos and doing this excellent slide presentation.
Anyone wanting to partake in the pin trading fun should check out our next club meeting at 6:30 P.M. on Tuesday, October 9, 2007 at the Norwood Legion, 134 Marion Street, Winnipeg, Manitoba. Visitors and guests can get into our meetings for free.
