WPCC CHRISTMAS WITH MRS. SANTA
Hi Everyone:
The pin club held its annual Christmas dinner at 6 P.M. on Tuesday, December 11, 2007 at the Royal Fork Buffet restaurant in Winnipeg. For the first time in the club’s 20 year history, Mrs. Santa (Lynne S.) and her elf (Bob M.) were able to make a surprise visit to add a lot of Christmas cheer to the evening’s festivities. Both of them were a big hit with the club members but especially with the children. 48 club members and their guests were in attendance which is a new club record. That is more than a 50% increase over last year.
There was the usual $10.00 gift exchange, a 50/50 draw and a pin draw. In addition, one of the big highlights of the evening was the grand prize draw. The winner of the jewellery set valued at $100.00 was Ivan L.
For the 3rd time in 3 years, Richard H. (age 12) had the most ticket sales for the grand prize draw. Congratulations to Richard H. for doing such a wonderful job selling tickets.
Everyone had a wonderful time, the food was great and we all enjoyed each other’s company. We are all looking forward to next year.
