History of VCKC Ageless Warriors
These pictures and brief captions will tell part of the story; but, there will be much more revealed if you talk to one of the many Ageless paddlers! The team got its start in 2002 and some of those members still remain and drive the team to new victories each year!
Ageless Warriors is an age 50 plus mixed team paddling out of the Victoria Canoe and Kayak Club. The team did not compete in 2003 or 2004, then was resurrected in 2005. That was a great year for the Warriors. We were in 2 festivals as part of a blended team from VCKC and 2 festivals on our own, winning 4 medals (2 golds). And here we have some pictures of an even better year in 2006; after that return to the gallery for tracking our progress in 2007.
